Abby's Cake

Abby decided on a simple cake for her reception. She was not too worried how fancy it would be, she wanted something elegant and tasty. This cake has it all. Her guests really liked the taste, she got her monies worth. (The strawberries were delicious)

Wedding Desires with cakes

Chocolate drizzled on this cake is so yummy. The cake was chocolate, vanilla and carrot. Each layer was filled with chocolate or vanilla pudding. It was so good. This cake came from the local grocery store, yes you heard me the grocery store.
It was delicious and very very inexpensive. You don't have to look very far to find a great thing like this cake. Under $200.00. Go cake testing one weekend and see what you can find. You just might be surprised.

Union Station

Chocolate and sage green are the colors this bride choose for her wedding. This cake is so simple yet it fit this old train station room very well. Just square layers with 2" ribbon wrapped around each layer adorned with a touch of fresh ivy made this cake beautiful. Less can be more in some circumstances their choice of cake style was perfect.

Fun Cake Designs

I just love the design of this cake. It screams excitement, energy flows from this color scheme. For some this cake would be too busy that's o.k. but for those who want an exciting centerpiece for guests to look at as well as eat this is awesome. Chocolate and lime green are great colors together with polka dots to make the cake a hit at the wedding. I commend this bride who was brave enough to say what she wanted and stuck with it. When making your choice of cake do what your heart desires not what is the majority vote.

THEME CAKES

I love matching a cake to the theme of the wedding. Creating a beautiful picture with a cake is so cool. The way a cake can help the decorations of the room is a must to design. Make sure you have a great quality linen underneath your cake, it will enhance the cake as well.

LESS IS MORE

Recently I attended a wedding reception, it was very beautiful. I enjoyed everything except the cake. Great BIG eye sore ugh, there were so many layers, tiers and flowers I was afraid that some small child would slightly bump the table and down it would go. I am sure that the bride loved the cake that's great. For us as guests it was really busy, I was not impressed and come to find out the brides parents paid almost as much for the cake as they did for the dress.
Brides here is some advice, people eat the cake you are just throwing money away. Spend less and use the money for other items that will make you wedding memorable.

40's Theme

This cake was stunning. Simply put the guests were in awe at how elegant it looks yet it was as simple as you can get. The theme of the wedding was a 40's theme so we really tried to make everything simple. I love this cake.
